Established in 2020, DKC is a boutique consultancy providing bespoke advice and support to clients in the maritime, offshore energy and renewables sectors.

Devandran is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years experience specialising in ship finance, offshore energy and renewables. Devandran moved to the UK from his native Singapore in 2000 to attend the University of Leicester, where he earned a bachelor of law degree with second upper class honours. He later obtained a post-graduate diploma (distinction) in Legal Practice from the College of Law, London.

​Devandran began his legal career in London and has since lived and worked in Greece and Singapore, working for two international law firms, holding senior and management level positions.

​

Devandran founded DKC in 2020. In essence, the sectors in which DKC operates and the services offered tap into Devandran’s professional experience and expertise which have been built over the years. At the heart of this has always been Devandran’s primary focus of building meaningful and long-lasting client relationships.

Cornelia is a German lawyer with over 15 years of experience in dispute resolution in the maritime, offshore, oil & gas, renewable energy, and transport sectors. Cornelia began her legal career in international law firms in Munich and Hamburg before taking on a senior role in an international law firm in Singapore. With a particular focus on complex, high-value cross-border disputes, she has built a proven track record of advising and representing global clients across Asia, Europe, and beyond.

Cornelia’s work is characterized by a sharp analytical approach and robust legal strategies that achieve successful outcomes and lead to the resolution of complex disputes and contract negotiations while navigating ever-evolving legal landscapes and managing cultural differences.

 

At DKC, Cornelia focuses on Dispute Advisory and Consulting. She provides clear, reliable and cost efficient advice and support to our clients in dealing with disputes of all kinds which includes the assessment of risks to determine the value of claims and evidence collation as well as disclosure management, the processing and reviewing of large volumes of data and evidence and damage quantification.
